℗ 2020 Taylor Swift
Taylor surprised me once again. After each album I always wonder, how can Taylor top herself after each release? You have to listen closely and then you’ll learn that Taylor grows every time, bringing something new and fresh to the table, and the food she brings is exactly what we need and crave.
Even after 13 years into Taylor’s career, she is STILL BREAKING RECORDS. This is a phenomenal album, but it’s not for everyone. The songs are slower with gorgeous lyrics and beautiful storytelling.
Her most adventurous album ever has paid off in spades. Some of the sharpest lyrics the songstress has ever penned reside in “folklore,” the result is an album that feels deep and meaningful, lived-in yet fresh. A true masterpiece
This Album is amazing I’m glad that she made an album during this pandemic that’s going around and she made people’s faces amazed and proud once she announced the news. Taylor Swift is the best singer in the History Pop Music
What’s funny to me everybody is saying this song sounds the same the song sounds the same if you really take your time and listen to the music and the lyrics not really I’m not a big Taylor Swift fan and I’m not afraid to admit it not that anybody cares but my thing is her eight studio album may not be the best for everybody and everybody May not like it but is peaceful is calm and it’s storytelling she’s not talking about sex drugs or nothing so if you’re not a huge Taylor Swift fan and you’re just now seeing this I highly recommend you to check out this album you will not be disappointed and for the people who don’t like it if you don’t like this type of music in general just do yourself a favor and stay away from you thank you
This album I thought was going to pretentious and maybe dull and boring....I spent a week listening and watching the lyrics sometimes...at some point the album clicked for me completely. I’m still enjoying it...there are some standout tracks and lyrics...some lyrics did make me tear up a little, particularly on “epiphany”.... Only twenty minutes to sleep But you dream of some epiphany Just one single glimpse of relief To make some sense of what you've seen
*This* is the Taylor Swift album I’ve been waiting for. She has always given us a glimpse of what she’s capable of which made my heart pitter patter, but this album made my heart swell up and explode each and every song, each and every time. I’ve been listening to it for weeks and I am still finding little tidbits of lyrical genius.
This is one of Taylor’s best albums! The lyrics are absolutely wonderful and very well written. Her voice is very soothing in this album as well. I liked how all the songs have different meanings and it’s definitely new since we are all so used to her pop songs so this was a change; but a good one. 5/5!
Your last album helped during a hard time when my mom died. I ran to your music everyday. This album is amazing. During a time being home (I have 3 little boys) I find I put you on and just run. You are so talented and so amazing. I’m 37 and love your music, you really help me during hard times, thankyou!
Many people keep saying that every song on this album sounds the same. It absolutely does not! Keep listening to it and you’ll understand that it’s exactly the tone that’s needed right now. I have played this album a thousand times and it never gets old. Much like 1989, this will always be a timeless album to play for years to come. I love every album she’s ever created but the way 2020 has been, this is such a calming escape from reality and I love every bit of it! ❤️
A great album reflective of our current, tumultuous time. I really like that nature is a major theme. The work she has created during isolation has inspired me to be more creative--to use this long pause to make something worthwhile.
Take this album for what it is: Taylor was stuck in quarantine during this pandemic and decided to write an album. This album is entirely hers. It was made without a label, produced my just her and few of her friends, released out of nowhere without any kind of promotion, marketing, or single. Hell, the album cover just looks like a picture she took of herself in her backyard. This seems to be the first Taylor Swift album that allowed Swift to be herself, in that it doesn’t seem like an act. She’s not trying to spread or create drama or try to be some Queen of Pop. I’ll admit: It’s kinda boring and slow-ish at times; I feel older fans of hers might be disappointed. But it’s most timeless Taylor, and it’s the realest Taylor.
