iTunes Live - EP Tracklist:
Love the voice of the lead singer! Lyrics are really good in some songs but could make sense in others. The beat is always catchy. Something is off. Keep it up. I predict this group will have a number 1 hit someday!
I absolutely love these versions of their certain singles, even though "The Calendar" surprised me very much. The harmonies on "Ready To Go (Get Me Out Of My Mind)" are breathtaking. "Nine in the Afternoon" was okay and "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" was outstanding. I love p!atd very much and this compilation of songs they sung at iTunes Live, is very much appreciated.
I saw them in concert in Rhode Island in October & I got to meet them. Brendon Urie's voice is just so perfect and wonderful. Every time I listen to them, I'm so happy inside. It's my go-to music..well whenever I listen to music..but they really cheer me up too. They are really the best people I have ever met. Ever. They're the sweetest things on earth and Brendon has the most adorable smile in the world. Everything about them deserves 5 stars. <3
I've been listening to the preview for I write sins live for probbably 10 minutes now... I can't get enough... BRENDON SPENCER DALLON AND IAN YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL!!! so WONDERFUL & TALENTED... I LOVE PANIC! p.s I love BRENDONS voice.... <3
Tis albumn is great! Panic is one of my favorite bands. i did get to see them on the Pretty Odd tour and this tour. I have to say that I thiouroughly enjoyed this tour better!! I was 7 feet away from Brendon in a very tiny bar in New Orleans and it was simply amazing. I even got drum sticks signed by Spencer!! :) The music is great. I hope they continue putting out great stuff like this. I only wish they had the entire concert on it, including the covers they have been tearing up this trour!! Other than that, AWESOME cd and a must have for any Panic fan!
I have loved Panic! since I listened to their first album and am still on the train. I have now seen them live 3 times and the Itunes live session is true to their performance level. I love Brendon's voice so much, and it blends beautifully with the newer members of the band (Dallon and Ian). This album showcases the bands talent outside of the studio in a way that not all vocals can stand up to. The songs have a fresh feeling with the acoustic sound and Im 100% addicted to it. If you are a fan of Panic! at the Disco, BUY THIS ALBUM. I cannot wait to hear new content from these guys. KEEP IT COMING!
So far I have only bought New Perspective, but it is AMAZING! One reason that I purchased it was how different it was from the album version. It really shows off Brendon's strengths as a singer. Plus it has a bonus "yes!" in the song, which always makes me smile. It is one of the most played songs on my iPod. love it.
I bought this the day that it came out--and I do not regret it. This is an absolutely wonderful performance. Honestly, I think it sounds just are good--or even better--that the studio versions of the songs. Brendon's voice is completely AMAZING. This is a MUST BUY.
This band is so good live, it's almost criminal. They always bring something special to their live performances, and this EP is no exception. It's a joyful sampler of all three studio albums, rich in sound and bound to make you smile. Though acoustic, the music is still full-bodied. But It's Better If You Do and New Perspective are stand-outs. This really makes me wish I'd been there, and that's a sign of success, to me.
AAH! I love their live version of "I Write Sins Not Tragedies"…it was my best friends' and my favorite song in middle school…it's nice to know that after about 5 or 6 years….this song still sounds good.
I really love this EP. The stripped down versions of the songs are just as good if not better. One thing I have to say is that "The Calendar" doesn't seem to get any love on this EP or on the Vices & Virtues. I happen to think it's one of their best songs...
Brendon has improved vocally so much from their first Itunes EP. He was good, but his voice is so much more powerful yet controlled. "The Calendar" has to be the best in my mind. The rawness is perfection <3 Wonderful job, boys, wonderful job
The harmonies are gorgeous, so is Brendon's voice. He is wonderful live. And besides from the music itself, Panic really knows how to put on a show. I had no idea that "Ready To Go" would be so purely awesome unplugged. Much love for these boys.
They played an amazing show.. I've been waiting since July for this to come out. Me and my best friend were in the front row and Brendon threatened to poke me. But seriously they have found a second wind with Vices and it really shows live.
I love it. I love Brendon, Spencer, Ian, and Dallon. I loved seeing them live on May 31, 2011. I love knowing that there are talented singers in the world (specifically Brendon). Overall... I LOVE PANIC! AT THE DISCO! <3
I can't even begin to understand why the other band members, who left, would want to. Panic! has nowhere to go but up and up and up, this new album is absolutely wonderful and this addition of the itunes live sessions give you a whole new respect for Brendon and his wonderdul vocals.
saw them in Columbus and miss hearing them...now i can re-live that concert with Brendons sexy vocals ;)!...and they actually sound amzing without all of todays technology unlike most bands...just sayin... <33
Great recording of the show. I always love hearing songs performed acoustically - it really emphasizes the lyric - and these all sounded great. I was so glad they included New Perspective, which I especially love.
Panic! At the Disco is my favorite band of all time and always will be! I've loved them since the beginning, the first song I heard by them was I Write Sins Not Tragedies and I instantly fell in love with their music and their amazing singer, Brendon Beautiful-face-and-voice Boyd Urie. Immediately after I just fell in love with it all, they're very essence will always make me feel safe and warm. I love them hearing live and I loved seeing them live (not gonna lie, I cried). They will never cease to be a constant inspiration for me and I can't imagine life without them. Their music has helped me to deal with so much in my life - bullies (which were an everyday issue for me in my earlier stages of life up to 6th grade), family issues (that still exist and are always cured by Panic!), and finally Panic! At the Disco has made me the well-rounded person I am today - with experience in some of the toughest situations, but also the knowledge on how to cope with every situation. They and their music helped me to become a confident and strong individual, they helped me learn to stand my ground when people continually try to intimidate or hurt me. Panic! is a daily inspiration for me in my creative writing and songwriting, and I hope someday that my band and I can follow in their footsteps and become a life-changing band just like them. Basically Panic! At the Disco has saved my life and I don't care if you think that no one can save your life if they don't even know you, YES THEY CAN and Panic! most definitely has for me, because with out them, I'd still be that shy scared little girl, with no real friends, afraid of being hurt by everything and everyone, too afraid to speak up, and most definitely to afraid to let my creativity shine in everything I do. I love them all more than you can imagine and for as long as I live I will keep them safe in my heart and remember what they did for me forever. I really can't thank them enough I just hope one day I can make them proud in some way. THANK YOU PANIC! AT THE DISCO FOR COMING INTO MY LIFE AND CHANGING IT FOR THE BETTER! - A
I love their first Live EP but this just shows how much Brendons voice has grown since then. I never get tired of listening to their music. Panic! is one of the most talented bands of my generation. Northern Downpour Forever <3
That's what Panic! at the Disco does with their live albums. The songs are already impressive, but their live arrangements and performances really add something special to the songs. I'm very happy with this EP from start to finish. This version of New Perspective is by far the best version I've heard. Kudos to the band for another brilliant live album.
EXCELLENT! Brendon Urie's vocals in this stripped down Live EP are superb and capture Panic! At The Disco's amazing sound. The six songs cover all three of their studio albums perfectly. Get this and Patrick Stump's "Soul Punk" too!
