Helium (Sia vs. David Guetta & Afrojack) - Single Tracklist:
Sia has proven over and over that she can tackle any song!!! I can’t believe that some compared her to Miley Cyrus! She grows with music and challenges herself with the art that she has mastered. That’s a real artist. I love you Sia. I have love you from the very beginning almost 20 years. Keep up the fabulous music!!!!
I like sia’s music and I have to say that as somebody commented that they were sick of depressing songs on the radio, I have to agree. This is a amazing remix, I love it, it lifts me up when I’m down and it makes my heart sing. Not many songs can say that but this is definitely better than the original.
Miles Cyrus, is that you? Sia used to “show her face”, nearly two decades ago, when her music was actually good, soulful, soaring and gritty—can’t beat Beautiful Calm Driving, Little Black Sandals, Sweet Potato, Zero 7’s Destiny, etc. and not the same screaming, screeching, over-produced pop detritus she’s been releasing for her legions of hyperbole-spouting tweens, who can’t write more than two words without inserting half a dozen “emojis”. Sia had edge, a distinctly scratched and resinous voice, and a talent for creating thought-provoking, evocative, heart-rending songs, now it’s just one variation of “Chandelier” after another, e.g. “Titanium”, now “Helium”; the continuing theme of Shouting Sia And Her Similes. And the Christmas album? Which creativity-sapping antidepressants did your shrink prescribe. or exactly when did you sell your soul, woman, and to whom, because I think you’re due a refund.
Sia is one of the best artists of the past few decades, yet this remix feels empty. Unlike her previous work with Guetta, this feels like a cheap remake of "Silence" by Khalid & Marshmello.
